Please Pass…No More

I don’t see lazy susan that much anymore. I grew up having them. I wonder why household nowadays do away with it. I actually find it convenient, I just have to turn and voila the food is in front of me. Don’t you like that? Anyway if you still have your own at home but is in need of a lazy susan turntable, then it’s about time you introduce if to your household. I bet they are going to like it.

All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go, la la la la la ….. Oh yes ! Playground equipment in our community

How I wish I can use up a portion of our small budget and ask a little help from kind-hearted and generous individuals so we can purchase PlaytimeUS.com school playground equipment just before the school year ends. Even though we have lots of educational projects for the kids this summer, I want them to enjoy a well deserved play after since summer is the only longer break  (3 months) for school kids. What a better way to play when you have a complete set of playground equipments.

The Session Goes High-Tech

I’m glad to announce that our Barangay budget was finally approved by the City Council in a session today. Since the last session on the road I attended somewhere in Sampaloc a few months back, it was only today that I got the chance to see the newly renovated and fully equipped (Mac computers for each Councilor, live camera feed, CCTV camera, etc) and a jampacked Session Hall. ‘Twas such an amazing sight though I missed the usual handshakes, brief chit-chats and besos with my District Councilors. All I had this afternoon were smiles, waves and sign languages between glass pane divisions. The view deck was full then because I came late due to our car’s faulty tire and had to wait for another one to catch up with the session. Anyway, the atmosphere looked so decent, formal, quieter, and more productive away from crowd distractions from “amuyongs” around. Lastly………high tech na talaga because the session can be witnessed online. CONGRATS MANILA!!!

26th Anniversary of People Power

As per invitation of Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, Barangay Officials were honored to be part of the celebration of the 26th People Power Revolution to ouster the Marcos Regime back in 1986. I was even lucky to take in a glimpse from a far away shot His Excellency President Benigno Aquino III and heard his speech before thousands of crowd in yellow. With me are some of my Council members.
